Naija5Fest Announces 2025 Tournament Schedule and Sponsor Lineup

Naija5Fest today announced the complete schedule for its 2025 tournament series, featuring monthly qualifiers across 16 Nigerian states and the year-end championship in Lagos. The organization also revealed its full sponsor lineup, including Rehau's Raha Cola as the January sponsor and FrieslandCampina's Peak Yoghurt for the December championship.

Naija5Fest Expands to 16 States for 2025 Season

Following the success of its 2024 season, Naija5Fest announced today that it will expand its tournament footprint to cover 16 Nigerian states in 2025. The expansion includes the addition of Plateau and Ekiti states to the competition roster, bringing the tournament to even more grassroots football talent across the country.

Naija5Fest Increases Prize Money for 2025 Championship

June 22, 2025

Naija5Fest has announced a significant increase in prize money for its 2025 championship. The grand prize for the year-end "Kings of 5's" championship has been increased to ₦5,000,000, up from ₦3,000,000 in 2024. Monthly qualifier prizes have also been increased to ₦2,000,000 per state.

Media Coverage Guidelines

Media Accreditation

Journalists and media representatives wishing to cover Naija5Fest events must apply for media accreditation at least 7 days before the event. Accreditation provides:

  • Access to media areas at tournament venues
  • Interview opportunities with players, coaches, and organizers
  • Access to high-resolution photos and videos
  • Press conference invitations

To apply for accreditation, please email media@naija5fest.com.ng with your name, media outlet, position, and the specific event(s) you wish to cover.

Brand Guidelines

When using Naija5Fest branding in your coverage, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Always use the correct spelling: "Naija5Fest" (one word, with the number 5)
  • Do not alter, distort, or change the colors of the official logos
  • Maintain clear space around the logo equal to the height of the "N" in the logo
  • When mentioning sponsors, use their full and correct names as provided in our materials
